  The food was delicious!  Gary was the server and he did an amazing job!  We had catfish and the bbq chicken sandwich with a side of greens.   All of it was delicious!

  I tried them a few years back and never reviewed because the experience was negative and was trying to avoid leaving a negative review until I tried again. Well today was the day. The experience was worst. I didn't even order food. The lady at the register is horrible. They were out of all desserts. She didn't know anything about the posted specials. I tried to order a vegetable plate which was priced at 5.59. Final total was 8.25. I asked why was it this price? She said taxes. I said no ma'am, not that much in taxes. She rudely asked me what I wanted to do. I tried to change the order but her attitude just got worse. I decided to leave. I will not try them again.

  This was the worst experience ever!! If I could give 0 stars I would! When we walked in we were told to get a menu and sit down as the lady behind the counter was sitting there eating in front of us. So we go sit down and waited for 15 minutes!! No one even came to ask us did we want a drink of water. I am so disappointed as I came from Texas to try this place! Never again!!

  Dindie's is a great soul food restaurant that does Memphis proud.
  
  Seems like it's difficult to find home cooking these days, & for sure fresh Fried Catfish 3 pieces ($10.99) cooked to order, not sitting under a heat lamp.  
  
  Sides were well seasoned, as they should be.  Fried Okra, Sweet Potato Souffle', Corn Muffins.
  
  More than I could eat ~ Peach Cobbler will have to wait till next time.  
  
  When was the last time you saw Chicken & Dressing on a menu?  The smell of chicken broth & sage coming from the oven upon opening Grandma's door after Church.

  Dindie's food is reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive and it ensures your appetite will be satisfied once your done, the food here is slightly above board, not the worst by far and not the best by far, I think food quality is just about perfect on par with price, Dindie's is not a place your going to drive out of your for but it's good.  The main reason I give this place 3 stars is due to the overall building exterior / interior appearance, the inside could use an upgrade and the outside could use a good picking up, paying close attention to the refuse receptacles. The exterior of the restaurant I think would greatly benefit from an enclosure to shield the trash bins.
